Community Guidelines

Rules of the Road | Last Updated: March 16, 2026

1. Real Communities Only

Every community listed on SlackScan must be a real, active Slack workspace. Please don't create fake listings or exaggerate your member counts. We want to keep the platform helpful for everyone.

2. Use Accurate Categories

Don't spam the categories. Make sure the sectors and tags you choose actually match what your community is about. Using misleading tags to get more views isn't allowed.

3. Keep it Safe

We have zero tolerance for communities that promote hate speech, illegal activities, or harassment. We will remove any listing that makes our users feel unsafe.

4. Working Links

If you're an admin, it's your job to make sure your Slack invite links actually work. Broken or suspicious links will be removed immediately to protect our users.

5. Be Respectful

SlackScan is here to help people find great communities. Any attempt to disrupt the site, scrape our data, or use automated bots will result in a permanent ban.
